Terms & Conditions

These terms cover the supply of goods by JL BETTER LIGHTING LTD UK ("we"). Website prices are our current listed prices in GBP; an order is confirmed when we accept it in writing.

Prices and quotations

• Prices shown on the website are our current GBP prices.
• Bulk and custom work is confirmed on a written quotation, valid 30 days unless stated otherwise.
• A contract forms when we accept your order in writing (email is sufficient) or when goods are despatched.
• Export orders are quoted separately.

Goods and specification

• Dimensions, voltages, LED counts and IP ratings are as stated on the product page or quotation. Where a page says "on request", that figure had not been confirmed at the time of publication.
• Photographs show the goods as supplied; colour appearance varies with programme and ambient light.
• Custom items are made to the drawing or sample you approve — please check the sample before we go to batch.

Payment

Terms are agreed on the quotation — typically pro forma for first orders and on account for established customers. Bank details are sent only by email from our own domain.

Liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of contract or negligence. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of a season or indirect loss, and liability for any order is limited to the price paid. Installation must be carried out by a competent person to BS 7671.

General

Governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumer statutory rights are unaffected.
